Press Office

To promptly meet the needs of citizens in our area, ACT has dedicated the past few years to improve and enhance its communication techniques, even designing and producing specific new tools to create an efficient channel of communication - involving listening, information and dialogue - with our clientele.

Pursuing our vision of a social, citizen-oriented, transit system, ACT sees the customer as a partner and protagonist in a dynamic social process, public transportation, and not as a mere “user” or “object” to be “managed”.

For this reason, ACT considers customer communications (whether current or future) to be a defining element in our operations. Communications is, indeed, a critical factor for creating value and for offering our users quality, customized services to help meet their real needs.

To involve Reggio Emilia’s citizens in this ongoing dialogue, ACT has established a Press Office with specially trained personnel. In compliance with law 150/2000, the Director of the Press Office is an experienced journalist in charge of relations with local, national and international news media and responsible for the publication of all the agency’s information media.

In addition, a Public Relations Office has been created to facilitate, improve and extend access to the local transit services offered in the Reggio area. Besides maintaining contact with local citizens, the Office oversees ACT corporate communications, guaranteeing administrative transparency and promoting the quality of the services delivered.
