C.I.M. Bus Station in Piazzale Europa

Since September 14, 2006, a new bus station for motor coaches has been operating on Piazzale Europa (behind the central railway station). The new station is located between a parking lot for cars and the future station for the surface commuter railway.

The new station is the terminus for the following lines:

The bus station in Piazzale Europa will gradually replace the station at the former Zucchi Barracks.

The Bus Station at the former Zucchi Barracks is still the terminus for all out-of-town lines:

Characteristics, Traffic Flow and Advantages of the New Bus Station in Piazzale Europa

Located on a broad square with an area of 12,500 square meters, 36 bus terminus platforms and 4 platforms used as bus stops, the new station has an internal traffic flow whose elliptical shape facilitates access, exit and maneuvering by vehicles.

Installed on the square are bus shelters for the comfort of passengers, and a ticket kiosk.

Access roads
Access by cars

• via Agosti: from the roundabout with Viale del Partigiano.
• via Bligny: from the intersection with via Adua.
• from the underground parking lot at Piazzale Marconi through 2 pedestrian underpasses.

Access by bicycles
Besides the roads mentioned above and the cycle/pedestrian underpass at Piazzale Marconi, bicycles can use the via Ramazzini bicycle/pedestrian underpass.

Mass transit connections between the new bus station and the station at the former Zucchi Barracks are provided by the following bus lines:
